RETURNS & REFUNDS
Damaged, faulty, or simply not right — here is how we sort it out.
1. The short version
If a game arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, tell us and we will replace it or refund you. If you simply changed your mind, you have seven days from delivery to cancel an online order, as the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act allows.
2. Changed your mind (seven-day cooling off)
Because you bought online without seeing the goods first, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 gives you seven days from delivery to cancel, without giving a reason.
- Email sales@zimos.co.za within seven days of delivery.
- Return the game unused and in its original packaging, with all cards, dice and tokens.
- You pay the cost of returning it. We refund the price of the goods promptly, and within 30 days of cancellation at the latest.
3. Damaged, faulty or incomplete
Our packaging says it plainly: every care is taken in production and packing, but if you find a defect or a missing component, do not return the game to the retailer — contact our office directly with your name, address, the date, proof of purchase and details of the fault, and we will resolve it.
If your parcel was damaged in transit, tell us within 2 days of collecting it from PostNet, with a photograph, so we can sort it out quickly.
Under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 you have six months from delivery to return goods that are unsafe, defective or not fit for their intended purpose, and to choose a repair, replacement or refund.
4. Missing a die or a token
Small parts go astray in busy classrooms. Contact us and we will help — the printed rules for Letters & Words and Numbers & Sums also explain how to keep playing with only the number die if a category die goes missing.
5. What we cannot take back
- Games that have been used, written on or are missing components, unless they were faulty.
- Games damaged after delivery by misuse.
6. How to return something
- Email sales@zimos.co.za with your order reference and what is wrong.
- We reply with a return address and instructions.
- Pack the game so it survives the trip back, and include your proof of purchase.
- Once it reaches us we inspect it and refund or replace promptly, and within 30 days at the latest.
7. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back the way the money came in, to the account used for the original payment.
